Molly locks the door behind her and walks down to David. He gives her a big kiss. She says, “is there anything you need from the city?” David smiles and thinks for a moment. He says, “just you.” She smiles and says, “I will come back. Nothing there calls me.” David gets on his bike with her suitcase in his sidecar, ready to ride back up the mountain. He says, “the city draws people and calls their minds stronger than any other force in the universe. You and I will teach people to be free until we die. I don’t have a phone up there, do you remember how to get there?” Molly nods and says, “yes.” She feels slightly nervous about driving up the mountain without a way to communicate with the outside world but she brushes off the trepidation. She says, “I look forward to seeing you soon.”

They start their bikes and ride off in opposite directions not knowing the trials that await them. As David rides his bike up the mountain he sees dark storm clouds forming over his head. The clouds reach as far as he can see and he feels a heavy snowstorm brewing. As soon as he gets home he turns on his radio to check the weather. He hears they are predicting a massive storm system that will arrive in the next day. The snowflakes begin to drift out of the sky, foreshadowing mother nature’s fury. Molly sees the clouds forming behind her and hopes she can make it to the city before any rain or snow. Her hands grip her handlebars as she rides in the cold mountain air. She feels excited to get back to the cabin with her new mountain man. She arrives in the city and finds her parents on the couch, eating tv dinners.
